Dr. Charles London
Dr. London is a York native and after graduating from York Suburban in 1973 he attended George Washington University and graduated from Penn State University in 1977. A Masters degree in Veterinary Parasitology came next and then he graduated Sum Cum Laude from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1984.
After working in several practices, Dr. London started his own hospital in 1988. Commited to client education his practice steadily grew until he added associates in 1994.
Living in East York with his wife Elizebeth Dr. London tries to find time for his hobbies and children. He has two daughters and a son and enjoys astronomy and target shooting.
Dr. Melissa A. Lowman
Melissa A. Lowman, DVM is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Bachelors degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA and is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota. She has a wide variety of clinical experience treating both large and small animal species. Her medical interests are always expanding and currently include reproduction, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and endocrinology.
At home she snuggles up to her best feline friend, Freckles, and enjoys spending quality time with her horse, Alia. She also greatly enjoys the outdoors and eco-travel and has ventured over 12,000 miles to study penguins and seals in Antarctica, has climbed volcanoes in Chile, visited the northern highlands of Scotland and has dined on carne asado on Argentine roadsides.
Dr. Suzanne R. Weaver
Suzanne R. Weaver, DVM joined Dr. London's practice in November 2005. After growing up in northern Lancaster County, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Small Animal Science at Delaware Valley College. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University in 1999. Prior to working with Dr. London, she lived in Chester County and managed a small animal practice there for over 5 years, and was an associate at another practice in York County for about a year.
She enjoys feline medicine and general medicine and surgery.
Currently residing in the Red Lion area, she enjoys hiking with her 2 dogs (a golden retreiver and a pit bull mix) and playing with her 3 cats. In her free time she also likes to read, cook, travel and spend time in her garden.
Jerry
Jerry is our office kitty. She has lived at Dr. London's office for the last 15 years. She came to us as part of an abandoned litter. We found homes for her two brothers, but Jerry was the runt of the litter so we kept her. Jerry's hobbies are sleeping,faxing,biting and getting into trouble. She is named after Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead.
